Give bowls a proper go.
You do not need experience, bowls or club whites to start. The club provides coaching, shoes and a good range of bowls so you can find your feet before committing.
Learn the feel
During the season, beginner and improver coaching runs from 10.30am to 1pm each Tuesday.
Decide in your own time
New bowlers have a minimum of four coaching sessions; experienced bowlers have two familiarisation sessions.
What to expect
Friendly coaching, properly paced.
The programme covers introduction, finding the line, adjusting length, mat and jack, measuring and keeping score. Shoes and bowls are supplied.
